“My desire is to walk with my clients through the healing process and encourage growth and self-awareness. My ultimate goal is for each client to leave therapy feeling more alive than ever before.”
Cara is a Master of Arts candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Her area of focus includes anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, end of life issues, gerontology, and life transitions. Cara believes that therapy is an act of both healing and growth. Through it, a person becomes more whole, and their greatest struggles can often be the gateway to their greatest sense of peace. Cara is also passionate about spiritual formation and encouraging clients to identify and use their spiritual gifts.
Before starting her career in counseling, Cara had a successful career in marketing. In 2013, she decided to take the leap of faith and switch to a career that she is most passionate about.
When she is not counseling, Cara enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her niece and nephew. Cara loves outdoor activities. Very rarely will you find her inside on a pretty day. She also enjoys travel, exploring new places, reading, and hanging out with her rescue dog, Emma.
