Isabella is passionate about listening, encouraging and supporting clients in challenging life situations and current transitions. Isabella believes in working with clients to help them recognize their strengths and how to reach their potential and goals. Isabella meets each client where he/she is at. Isabella hopes to be a guide and tool for her clients who are ultimately in charge of their lives and decisions. Isabella wants to create a safe, genuine and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves. Isabella has an interest in working with kids, adolescents and adults who are struggling with how to manage changes. Isabella has a background in treating kids, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, school-related problems, adoption, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, grief/loss, trauma, divorce recovery, adjustment to change, eating disorders and family adjustments. Isabella incorporates family counseling when it is helpful for the client.
Before joining the Summit, Isabella worked with all age groups ranging from age 5 to late 60s at a private practice in Cumming, GA. Isabella also worked at a Pregnancy Center and provided counseling for females, couples and families during transitions. Isabella has experience working with children and teens struggling with health concerns. Isabella previously served as a camp counselor at Camp Kudzu and helped empower individuals to not let diabetes limit them and their life choices. Isabella went to the University of Georgia for her Bachelor’s and the University of North Georgia for her Master’s.
Isabella is under the supervision of Nathan Butzen, PsyD.
