“You either walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.” – Brené Brown
Whitney is the Mental Health Awareness Coordinator at The Summit Counseling Center. She is very passionate about reducing stigmas related to mental illness and expanding access to mental health services.

She has worked as a case manager and led support groups for children who have a sibling with special needs.
Whitney was raised in Charleston, South Carolina and before moving to the Atlanta area, lived in Asheville, North Carolina. She enjoys exploring new hiking trails, trying new restaurants with her husband, going to concerts, and playing with her cat, Sunny.
“Mental health is just as important as physical health and deserves the same quality of support.”
