Fred Erler Joins Summit Counseling Center
In his role, Fred will assist the Summit with strategic development to promote the Summit’s Clergy and Congregational Care program. “The CCC program is designed to provide ongoing consultation, coaching, training and support – to accompany clergy and congregations in continuing growth toward excellence – through every season of ministry. Together, under Fred’s leadership, the Summit can reach more congregations and clergy within our community.” said Rev. David Smith, Summit Executive Director.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Summit to provide CCC services such as workshops, groups and seminars – or to consult and bring assistance in crises.” noted Erler. Prior to joining the Summit, Fred served for seven years as Executive Pastor at Mount Pisgah UMC and is the founder and managing partner for Global Consulting which he formed in 2002. Fred brings over 30 years of management experience, retiring in 2001 from Nordson Corporation as President of one of their West Coast divisions. He resides in Suwanee with his wife Maggie.
