Lunchtime Parenting Series

Bring your lunch and join other parents in discussing:

  • Homework Wars – How to Avoid or Minimize;
  • Peer Relationships – Helping Without Taking Over;
  • Helping your Child Manage ADD/ADHD – What Can be Done Instead of or in Conjunction with Medication?

$15 per session or $50 for the entire series. Call The Summit Counseling Center to register (678-893-5300). (Walk-ins welcome as space permits.) Invite a friend or bring your spouse (no additional charge for spouses)!

Dr. Lenore Doster is a Licensed Psychologist on the staff of The Summit Counseling Center. Her therapeutic interests include child, adolescent, marital, and family therapy. Dr. Doster has worked with a variety of people-ranging from helping average people with life transition to working with people suffering from severe mental illness. Her clinical experience includes work at the Grady Memorial Adult Day Treatment Center and at Philhaven Psychiatric Hospital, a non-profit facility located in Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Don, are the parents of one son-Hunter.

A four Week Luncheon Series For Parents of Children birth to 10 years

  • Week 1:
    Effective Discipline including handling sleep and eating problems
  • Week 2:
    Managing Your Own Anger & Stress While Parenting
  • Week 3:
    Recognizing and Preventing Childhood Depression & Anxiety
  • Week 4:
    Building Self-Esteem & Character
