Thank You for Supporting Us

Megan Barfield, MS, LAMFT

Hopewell M.S., Cambridge H.S.

The relief and joy that I have been able to see in both the parents and children I work with when they discover that Summit has funds to aid them in services due to generous and compassionate donors is a sight that I am privileged to experience. Thank you for giving them (and me) this opportunity!

Katie Beals, MEd, LAPC

Autrey Mill Middle School

I cannot thank you enough for your contributions to help assist those who cannot afford counseling on their own. I can’t explain how good it feels to see the faces of relief when I explain that we can offer a reduced rate to those in need. It brings me joy and it really does change and save lives. I am so thankful for your generosity!

Juliana Brown, M.S.

Sandy Springs M.S. & North Springs Charter H.S.

Thank you for your great generosity! We greatly appreciate your donations, and your sacrifice. Your support helps to further our mission and reach clients that wouldn’t otherwise have an opportunity to receive the help they need. Your support is invaluable to us, thank you again.

Brittany Byrd, MA, LAPC

Barnwell E.S., Dolvin E.S.

Thank you so much for your Generosity! Without you and your team advocating the importance of mental health, the Summit would not be able to help as many people as they have! You are honored and cherished!

Deiona Carter, MS, LAPC

Taylor Road M.S. Chattahoochee H.S.

Thank you for your generous donations and support for students’ in the community. Through your generosity I am able to provide support to students and their families through difficulties and transitions. Your kindness is appreciated.

I see how far your donations
are going every time I sit down with a client. These teens and kids are going through real and tough problems and could not get the help they need without your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of these clients!

Mariah Dantzler, MS, LAPC

Elkins Pointe M.S.

Because of your donation I have been able to see children that have faced abuse and trauma situations and without financial support would have never been able to seek therapy. Their parents are so grateful that we are helping their family to heal and appreciate the support and hope we give them.

Brittany Glaser, MA, MDiv, LPC

Johns Creek H.S.

Thank you so much for your support and contribution! It has been incredible to see the ways that Summit OnSite has completely changed student’s lives who would otherwise never have access to services that they desperately need. Thank you for making that possible! I’m so grateful that I get to work alongside you!

Nikki Gonzalez, MS

Crabapple Crossing E.S., Haynes Bridge M.S.

Thank you for your generous donation to the Summit OnSite program. Your generosity allows me to reach an under-served population in our community. Removing the barrier of affordability allows my students the opportunity to receive the care they otherwise could not afford. Your gift goes beyond changing lives…you are literally saving lives.

Janie Hortman, MA, LAPC

Northwood E.S.

Thank you so much for your contribution to our Summit OnSite program! Your generosity has allowed many elementary school students to receive the care and support that they may not have been able to receive otherwise. Being able to sit with the children and parents through a crisis without the worry of funding means so much to me
and the parents. Thank you for your continued support!

Brittany Ketchup Hall, MA, LAPC

Barnwell E.S., Dolvin E.S

To all of our donors a heartfelt thank you. Because of your donations a great many children and adolescents have received the help they might not have otherwise. Thank you and God bless!

Heather Page, PhD

Peachtree Charter M.S., Dunwoody H.S.

Thank you so much for allowing us to reach families who would not be able to access high quality services otherwise. I have so many parents who are overwhelmed with gratitude that their child’s mental health does not have to be a financial burden to them. Thank you for all that you do!

Michelle Pintado, MSW, LMSW

Haynes Bridge M.S, Centennial H.S.

Thank you for the donors that made it possible to provide opportunities for children and adolescents that are unable to pay for services. Especially for the Latino community that usually goes unserviced due to language barrier, undocumented status and lack of funds.

Cally Short, MS, LAPC

Northwestern M.S., Milton H.S.

There are no words to adequately express my gratitude for your generosity! Your donations have created opportunities for youth who would otherwise be left unserved and unsupported. Each contribution sets forth a movement toward growth and healing. Thank you for your invaluable support!

Brady Varga, MSW, LMSW

Sweet Apple E.S., Crabapple M.S.

Thank you for your tremendous support in helping our organization to be able to bring mental health services and awareness to our community. Your donations have supported Summit’s mission in being able to provide therapeutic services for our clients who would be less likely to obtain services if Summit was not in the schools or unable to obtain services due to financial stressors. Mental health is an important component of living a happy and successful life and I am grateful for your support in our campaign to help heal all those in need.

According to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), one in five youth have a mental health condition, with half of mental health conditions developing by age 14. Yet, less than half of youth with mental health conditions received any kind of treatment in the past year. Undiagnosed, untreated, and inadequately treated mental illnesses significantly interfere with a student’s ability to learn, to grow, and to develop.

Since children spend much of their productive time in educational settings, schools provide a unique opportunity to identify and treat mental health conditions by serving students where they already are.

Currently, Summit OnSite provides school-based therapists onsite at 28 of our local schools.
