Andrea has a heart for helping others navigate life’s challenges and pursue growth and wellness in all areas of their lives. She enjoys working with individuals, teenagers, couples, and families. Andrea’s areas of interest include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues.

Andrea believes in cultivating a therapeutic relationship with her clients where they feel safe, empowered, and understood while they work towards growth and change. Andrea primarily works from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and focuses on giving clients the tools and support they need to making lasting and effective changes to achieve their goals.

Andrea is currently interning at Summit Counseling Center while finishing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Andrea also attended and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Science.

In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with her friends, family, and two golden retrievers. She is always looking for new experiences and loves to travel, try new foods, and learn more about herself and others.
