“Peace is the beauty of life. It is sunshine. It is the smile of a child, the love of a mother, the joy of a father, the togetherness of a family. It is the advancement of man, the victory of a just cause, the triumph of truth.” – Menachem Begin
Brittany is passionate about helping children and their families restore and rebuild the peace they have lost in their lives. She believes humans were created to be intimately connected with others in loving, secure relationships. When that connection and safety is absent or broken from life difficulties, it can result in emotional pain and behavioral issues that are difficult to navigate alone.
Brittany provides youth (ages 3-18) with the tools they need to overcome their inner struggles, navigate the challenges of life, and develop resiliency for their future. She has experience working with children and adolescents who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Her interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, divorce, grief, social skills/peer relationships, behavioral issues, transitional issues, and parent-child attachment work.
Her counseling expertise is also in a wide variety of settings, such as non-profit organizations, animal-assisted therapy programs, private practice, and in the school system. Brittany primarily uses play therapy and cognitive behavioral approaches to help her clients achieve self-awareness and emotional healing.
Brittany’s favorite activities include spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, traveling and playing sports.
