Juliana provides individual, family and group counseling and specializes in working with students ages 4-18 regarding social and emotional development, academic achievement, social behavior, and mental and physical health. She utilizes CBT, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy with clients. She is multiculturally competent and bilingual in Spanish and English. She has 5 years of experience in working with developmental disabilities and Autism.

Juliana has experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as providing crisis counseling to students who have recently experienced trauma. She prides herself on her ability to strengthen child-parent relationships and decrease conflicts between peers through the introduction of anti-bullying, peer mentoring, and conflict resolution initiatives. These initiatives have helped increase client graduation rates as well as help students successfully complete their school year.

Juliana has a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience partnering with students, parents, school social workers and counseling staff as a trained intensive family intervention specialist since 2013. She is dedicated to cultivating supportive, stimulating, and inclusive environments that allow all students to reach their fullest potential.

Juliana and her husband have 2 daughters. She also has a Yorkie named Frankie.  She enjoys baking, art and crafts, reading, interior decorating, party planning, and volunteering as a Girl Scouts leader for her daughter’s troop.
