Are you fully content with the life you’re living? You’re not alone if you feel like something is missing or that your life could be better. Many people struggle to regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, connect with others, or find their values amid hopelessness and disappointment. It’s common to feel like giving up or avoiding the pain altogether, thinking change is impossible. But meaningful and lasting change is possible. In her sessions, Becca helps clients identify what they’re unhappy with, envision the life they want, and take the steps to get there. Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Becca creates an individualized experience tailored to each client’s unique personality and needs. Her sessions are infused with passion, humor, and genuineness, offering a supportive environment for growth. In addition to DBT, Becca integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy to best support each client on their journey.
Outside her therapy office, you might find Becca exploring new restaurants outside the perimeter or relaxing in Highlands, North Carolina. However, Becca does consider herself a homebody; she enjoys playing video games with her husband, listening to and analyzing pop music, and cuddling with her two miniature dachshunds, Lili and Dogwood. Becca regularly engages in self-care, making sure her own emotional and mental needs are met so she can provide more effective treatment for others.
