A childhood cancer diagnosis affects the entire family. While CURE Childhood Cancer provides invaluable support, education, and resources throughout a family’s journey, finding the right mental health care can sometimes feel overwhelming.

The Summit Counseling Center is proud to partner with CURE Childhood Cancer as a trusted mental health resource and care navigator. When families are referred to us, our role is to help connect them with the therapist or mental health provider who best meets their unique needs. While many families may receive services through The Summit Counseling Center, we understand that the best fit isn’t always within our organization.

Our goal is to help families access quality mental health care, whether that’s with one of our therapists or with another qualified provider anywhere in Georgia. We work to identify therapists based on factors such as location, specialty, insurance, availability, and the family’s preferences, making the referral process as simple and supportive as possible.

How the CURE & Summit Partnership Works

The Summit Counseling Center is proud to partner with CURE to expand access to quality mental health care for individuals and families across Georgia.

When a family is referred through CURE, CURE assesses their needs and determines the most appropriate provider. Families may be connected with a therapist at The Summit Counseling Center or with one of the trusted therapists and organizations within Summit’s carefully vetted provider network. This ensures families receive the care that best fits their unique circumstances, regardless of where they are located.

The Summit Counseling Center oversees and manages this network by evaluating, approving, and maintaining relationships with qualified mental health providers throughout Georgia. By partnering with trusted clinicians and organizations, we help ensure that every family referred through CURE has access to compassionate, high-quality care.

Together, CURE and The Summit Counseling Center are working to make mental health services more accessible by connecting families with the right therapist at the right time, whether that provider is part of Summit or one of our approved network partners.
