Therapy is about taking a risk…to journey the unknown, to face the pain, to embrace understanding, to desire the different, and to find healing in time. Tamara creates space for her clients to access their bravery, to challenge their doubts, to illuminate their strengths, to face their path of change through learning new ways and realizing their unique goals. All become central to the therapeutic relationship she forms with each of her clients. Integrating a view of the family system is an added component to the approach she takes with her clients, offering a different quality of insight into their therapeutic journey. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Focused Therapy and Experiential Therapy are her core practicing therapies.
She also has vast experience facilitating therapeutic, educational and experiential groups with both the adult and teen populations.
In her free time, Tamara enjoys delving into a good novel, gym time or walks outdoors, international travels and ministry work, baking (and sharing), and any and all activities with her family, whether planned or impromptu
