Summit Counseling Center Welcomes Five Distinguished Board Members

[Johns Creek, Georgia] — Summit Counseling Center, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible mental health services, is pleased to announce the appointment of five exceptional professionals to its Board of Directors.

The newly appointed board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in diverse fields, further strengthening The Summit’s mission to support the mental well-being of our community.

  • Ana Franco is Head of Strategy and Product Management for US Electrical Products for Siemens where she has worked since 2012. Ms. Franco has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan and Georgia Tech.
  • Minutha Parker serves as manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Eversheds Sutherland. Mrs. Parker previously worked at the Intercontinental Hotels Group, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta Association, and The Walt Disney Company. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
  • Cherylann Sherwood is a Change Manager for Business Technology at Salesforce. Ms. Sherwood previously consulted for UPS and CSL Behring, and worked for McKesson and Dow Jones in change management and communications. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. Her current nonprofit leadership experience includes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Golf Women Mean Business and Eagles Nest Church.
  • Tracy Triplett is a self-employed Media Consultant through her company Hidden Treasure Media, LLC and serves as the Director of Media at St. James United Methodist Church. Ms. Triplett has a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
  • Nikeisha Whatley-Léon is a Licensed Professional Counselor who serves as System Director of Behavioral Health for Northside Hospital, Atlanta, GA. Ms. Whatley-Leon has a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology.

Summit Counseling Center is honored to welcome these distinguished individuals to the board. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental health services in our community.
