With warmth, curiosity, and empathy, Leah’s hope is to create a space that fosters unconditional acceptance which she believes is the foundation for true change and self-growth. Leah uses a holistic, person-centered approach and believes in the power of meeting people where they are at. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and using somatic therapy as a tool to help clients with emotional regulation. Her hope is to help clients integrate the parts of themselves that have been impacted by trauma as well as build resilience and recognize their potential to thrive despite life’s challenges. She utilizes various modalities drawing from polyvagal theory, IFS (internal family systems), existential therapy, mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy). Leah works alongside clients who face depression, anxiety, grief, body image issues, PTSD, and more.
