Licensed Associate Professional Counselor

About Hanna

Therapy works best when people feel safe, understood, and free to be honest about where they are and where they hope to go. In Hanna’s work, her goal is to create a supportive space where clients can find steadiness, build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change without feeling judged or rushed.

Hanna begins each therapeutic relationship by getting to know the individual or family in front of her and working collaboratively to understand their needs and goals. Her approach blends person-centered, existential, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and strengths-based therapies. As a Certified Art Therapy Practitioner and holistic practitioner, she also incorporates creative and experiential tools such as art, mindfulness, music, and practical skill-building when they fit the client’s needs. Hanna is also certified as an ADHD specialist.

Hanna works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She especially enjoys supporting individuals with ADHD, autistic teens, young adults finding their footing, and clients navigating grief, relationships, and major life transitions. She also has extensive experience walking alongside teens and families during periods of crisis, including higher levels of care, safety planning, stabilization, and the transition back to school, home, and outpatient therapy. In addition, Hanna offers parent coaching and family workshops to help caregivers better understand their teens, communicate with greater connection, set healthy boundaries, and navigate conflict with more confidence.

Outside the office, Hanna enjoys spending time with her family, cheering them on, watching movies, traveling, and eating good food.

“There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.”
