"Empathy has no script. There is no right way or wrong way to do it. It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment."
― Brené Brown, PhD
Therapy is rooted in empathy and the belief that no one should face life’s challenges alone. Anna works with but not limited to, adolescents, young adults, individuals, and couples, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to share struggles, explore emotions, and feel truly heard. Anna works collaboratively with clients to develop goals and supports them every step of the way through the process. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Anna helps clients develop practical coping skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. Sessions are guided by a client-centered, humanistic approach, honoring each person’s experiences, strengths, and goals. Mindfulness practices are thoughtfully integrated to cultivate presence, self-awareness, and calm, supporting clients in navigating life with greater resilience, insight, and self-compassion.
When Anna is not counseling, she can usually be found spending time with her cats, playing games with her family (though she admits she’s far too competitive!), going on walks, playing pickleball, or experimenting with making sourdough. She also enjoys finding small ways to bring calm and joy into everyday life whether that’s through a good book or watching a show.
