Senior Leadership

Rev. David M. Smith – Executive Director

Since 2001, David has served as therapist, clinical supervisor and The Summit’s Executive Director. As Executive Director he is responsible for overseeing the execution of the mission and vision of The Summit.

Will Atkins – Director of Operations and Clinical Services

Will’s dual role involves both day-to-day management and forward-thinking strategy. He provides operational leadership of the organization’s management team and oversees the training and supervision of The Summit’s clinical staff.

Cathy Murphy – Director of Marketing & Community Engagement

Cathy Murphy is The Summit’s ambassador to our surrounding community. Her primary role is to assess needs and cultivate strategic relationships while working together with The Summit’s therapists to address the growing mental health challenges facing our community.

Rachel Newcomer – Director of Development

Rachel brings over 10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience to her role as Director of Development for The Summit. By overseeing The Summit’s event-based fundraising, and corporate fundraising efforts, Rachel is helping to ensure that the vital mission of The Summit continues to be fulfilled.
