Dr. Marshall provides psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. The age of her clients ranges from 3 years to 55 years. In addition to psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments, Dr. Marshall provides hourly psychological evaluations to adolescents and adults for diagnostic and treatment clarity. She also provides psychological evaluations for domestic and international adoption purposes.
Dr. Marshall has been focused on helping individuals with cognitive and emotional difficulties for over 20 years. She has a passion for understanding individuals’ strengths and weaknesses to help them find their path to academic, personal, and vocational success and well-being. In addition to evaluating suspected learning disabilities, Dr. Marshall assesses cognitive and emotional functioning in children, adolescents, and adults with neurological and other medical problems, including epilepsy, brain tumors, and head injury/concussion.
Dr. Marshall received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgetown University. She completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Toronto, while also conducting research and receiving clinical training at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Marshall completed her clinical internship and post-doctoral fellowship in the Division of Pediatrics at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She is licensed in Georgia and Texas.
Dr. Marshall is an author of over 35 original journal publications in neuropsychology and functional neuroimaging. In addition to her clinical and research background, Dr. Marshall has taught at the high school, undergraduate and graduate school levels. She is a member of the Georgia Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Marshall grew up in Colorado Springs and is the mother of four children. She is an active tennis player, and she attends North Point Community Church. She enjoys outdoor activities, and loves watching her kids play sports.
