Cody is dedicated to offering a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. Cody strives to tailor his services to each person’s unique needs, Cody primarily utilizes solution-focused strategies, person-centered techniques, and cognitive-behavioral methods while integrating play therapy skills and executive functioning skills building. Cody strives to build a strong, collaborative bond with clients and their families, ensuring a therapeutic environment that fosters healing and growth.
Cody earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Georgia Southern University. He then went to Valdosta State University where he completed his Master of Social Work degree. Cody has since worked in Community mental health, assisting children and their families work through and process trauma, anxiety, anger, and many other emotional/behavioral challenges. Cody also has background working with children and adolescents in the school setting to foster healthy development and living outcomes for his clients and families by meeting them where they are and offering collaborative guidance. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Georgia and is currently working towards obtaining his Clinical Social Work License.
In his outside life, Cody is a proud dog parent and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Cody enjoys traveling with his fiancé and is always searching for adventure and the beauty of the outdoors. He also is an avid fan of college football and will be loudly supporting the Crimson Tide on gamedays.
