Patrick believes in a client-led approach to therapy, where the focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and express themselves freely. His work is rooted in humanistic principles, emphasizing the importance of empathy, active listening, and respect for the client’s autonomy. By fostering a comfortable environment, Patrick aims to help clients uncover insights and find their own paths toward healing and growth. Drawing on a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based, Strengths-Based, and Solutions-Focused, Patrick tailors his approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Patrick works to ensure that therapy is as effective and personalized as possible, empowering clients to build resilience and create lasting, positive change.
Aside from counseling, Patrick enjoys going on runs, cooking, playing the bass guitar, watching comedies, and playing tabletop games with his wife, friends, and family. He can also be found out walking his dog, Kuzco.

Patrick received his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University where he served as vice president for the program's CSI chapter. He also attended Columbus State University for his undergraduate, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and certificate in Servant Leadership. Prior to joining Summit, Patrick worked as a school-based therapist for CHRIS 180. In this role, Patrick worked primarily with high school students working through a variety of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, gender identity, suicidality, cultural stress, grief, chronic illness, and trauma. Patrick also has experience working as a one-on-one support paraprofessional at the elementary school level and as a Registered Behavioral Technician at an autism support clinic.
