Summit Counseling Center Appoints Cathy Murphy as Director of Operations

The Summit Counseling Center is pleased to announce that Cathy Murphy has been promoted to Director of Operations.

In her role, Cathy will serve on the executive team to provide oversight of the Summit’s procedures and operations. “Over the past four years, Cathy has proven her ability to oversee the daily operations of the Summit Counseling Center and is a tireless supporter of our mission!” said Rev. David Smith, Summit Executive Director.

“I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful organization. Through partnerships with other non-profits, local churches, businesses and local schools; the Summit is making a difference in our community.” said Cathy Murphy. Prior to joining the Summit in 2010, Mrs. Murphy was the Marketing Director and Investor Relations Officer of Appalachian Bancshares, a bank holding company in North Georgia. She resides in Roswell with her husband, Shawn. They have five adult children and one grandchild.
