About Alexis Durham

“Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.”

― Charles Dickens

Alexis has been a longstanding believer that it is never too early to build a strong foundation of coping skills. She finds nothing more rewarding than witnessing a young individual build on their ability to navigate their world and become more confident and capable. Her therapeutic approach is primarily a combination of person-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapy methods that is catered to the individual. This allows for Alexis to get to know her clients and tailor the therapeutic experience to benefit their individual characteristics and needs.

When not counseling young people, Alexis enjoys spending time at with her family and dog. She enjoys visiting the lake or the mountains as well as reading books, crafting, and collecting houseplants. In the fall, she loves cheering on the Auburn Tigers football team.

Alexis Durham is under the directed experience and clinical supervision of Alice Hoag, Ed.D. LPC, CPCS, BCPCC.
