[Johns Creek, Georgia] – The Summit Counseling Center is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the recipient of a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia. The grant will be used to expand the subsidized Dialectical Behavior Therapy program, providing accessible mental health services to individuals in need.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective therapy that combines cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices. The funding from the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia will allow the Summit Counseling Center to break down financial barriers and ensure that individuals can access this life-changing therapy.
The Summit Counseling Center is committed to providing quality mental health services to the community, regardless of financial circumstances, and looks forward to using these funds to further its mission of providing affordable and accessible care.
