Jennifer grounds her therapy in Family Systems and Psychodynamic theories while using evidenced based practices and trauma-informed interventions such as mindfulness, CBT, EMDR, and ACT. When working with Jennifer, you will identify the “red thread” that connects your past experiences and beliefs about yourself and the world, to your present successes and struggles, and learn skills while increasing your awareness to redefine your future. You will learn practical tools to help you manage difficult emotions and have difficult conversations. You will have an empathic, compassionate, and non-judgmental experience. Jennifer believes that every person can transform their life and bring about new connections to themselves and others.
In 2013, Jennifer obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Waldorf College and in 2016, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. Jennifer has experience as a Therapist and Director working at the residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels with adolescents and adults with Substance Use Disorders and struggle with other mental health issues.
When Jennifer is not counseling, she can be found spending time with her children and spouse whether it is coaching her son’s soccer team, doing girl scout activities with her daughter, or a date night with her husband. Jennifer also loves a quiet night at home roasting marshmallows around a bonfire and playing fetch with her two dogs.
