"I believe the greatest gift I can conceive of having from anyone is to be seen by them, heard by them, to be understood and touched by them.”
― Virginia Satir
Will’s aim is to help people to better understand their experience and to identify and develop tools and skills that would empower them to navigate their experience in healthier and more fulfilling ways. He believes this is best accomplished by collaboratively working with clients to create a safe and open space where clients can heal and grow. Will is drawn toward working with families, couples, and individuals 13 years old and older. He views his work with clients through a mixture of therapeutic lenses, including family systems, Gottman Couples Method, CBT, existential, and mindfulness therapy. Will mainly focuses on working with topics related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, men’s issues, family dynamics, and relationship challenges such as couples/marriage counseling and pre-marital counseling.
Will enjoys spending his free time traveling, cycling, rock climbing, and hanging out with his family and friends. He loves to learn and be challenged. He is continually looking for ways to grow and develop a healthier understanding of himself, others, and the world.
